I don’t get it. Is anybody ever seeing any contrails in msfs2024? I’m not, despite the traffic is around me according to little navmap…
Yes although it’s on VATSIM and I use model matching. No idea if that changes anything.
It is a issue with LOD, have a look at some related threads.
Yep..plenty…have all the traffic sliders up.
If the AI aircraft is near you in flight, yes you can sometimes see the contrail. From the ground, no, because of the LOD bug. Hope they fix it soon. As I mainly fly GA, I’ve seen the amazing amount of 3 contrails since the sim was released, lol.
Yep – looking up at the sky from the ground level, I’ve never seen any contrails in FS2024.
Yeah, I’ll randomly run into some graphic anomaly while cruising that looks like a left over contrail with no plane in sight. Ugh… Otherwise never!

There is no real population! So the chemtrails have no effect. That is why they are not there.

Contrails working fine for my last weekend on my two long-ish flights in the PMDG 777-200ER,
The issue is with AI aircraft contrails seen from the ground or from low flying aircraft, as was said before. There is no issue when seen near the plane.

I was replying to the first post in the thread, which made no such distinction.
The topic title should refer to AI Aircraft contrails. But from reading the OP’s post, I understand he is referring to AI aircraft contrails.

Yesterday I did saw a contrail from an AI plane, I was flying a few honderd feet under it and we flew the same airway. But still it’s very occasionaly and I never see a sky full with contrails as we once had in msfs2020
