They look good (the “Collection” one?) but does it stay where you put it on the carpet? I have no frame that I can bolt them to.

Anybody else experience delivery issues with Honeycomb? My wife ordered/paid for a Honeycomb Bravo over a month ago for my birthday on the 8th of Aug, and still no delivery. When she tries to track the package, she gets links to more product advertisements. I’ve email their address for customer support and got not even crickets. I tried calling the support number and there’s no answer, not even an answering machine. At what point should I ask for a refund? I was really looking forward to this addition with my Honeycomb Alpha, which I thoroughly enjoy! Disappointing. Did we just get scammed?

The shared wisdom seems to be, if you can buy their products from reputable 3rd party sellers that have them in stock, do it, otherwise stay away.

Personally, I’d ask for a refund and then buy the Bravo elsewhere. I got my Alpha and Bravo as a set through Amazon.

I have the MFG Crosswind pedals and really like them. Very well constructed. Replaced my old CH Products pedals.

Was this the email address
support@flyhoneycomb.zendesk.com

I have the ACE flight pedals. I simply put them on a box on the floor as my desk is a little high. Works perfectly.

No. I left out the zendesk.com. Does that work? It’s been another week and still no delivery. The address I used was from their support page. Dave

Should work

Their whole website is down now.

Wow, it ( (flyhoneycomb.com)) shows a generic shopify “Sorry, this store is currently unavailable.” No sign of any branding or anything ever having lived there.

That can’t be a good sign

Their website no longer works. Either they are out of business or they forgot (or could not) pay the web hosting fee. Not a good sign …

I doubt Shopify would take down their shop because of one missed payment. Either Honeycomb hasn’t paid them for months, switched providers or it’s simply a glitch.
If they switched providers something must have gone wrong there as well

Email is down as well.

Honeycomb website is gone this morning. Shopify ad appears instead. No phone, no email, NADA. I’d say they are out of business or about to be. I too am out money to them. I have been trying to contact them for three weeks.

I’m sure we’ve overspeculating and sensationalizing - maybe just a hiccup in their web hosting or a pending site/shop redesign or something.

What’s funny is how laughably simple it would be to get in front of this by firing off a quick Tweet or Facebook post saying “all good, brb” or something - it’d take 10 seconds but it’s par for the course with their communication. The simplest engagement with their customer base seems to elude them in every single circumstance. It’s like a master class in how to make it difficult to do business and as someone lucky enough to have all my Honeycomb stuff already, with no issues, it’s almost funny. Not funny at all to those trying to buy new gear or repair broken stuff.

If some of the speculation in this thread is correct, and they did fold, it’s hard to overstate what a seismic shift this would herald in the world of sim hardware. And a shockingly stark contrast to Nicki getting up in front of everyone just a few short months ago saying “everything’s gonna be fine, we’ll start shipping and handling RMAs again, supply chain. bottlenecks are easing, and by the way here’s some cool new stuff we’re working on” - seriously, to go from unveiling their Delta flight screens to shutting their doors forever without a peep from them would be bizarre and unprecedented.

We’re also talking about people’s jobs here too - people in Honeycomb Support or whatever who have been propped up in the frontlines of all of their unhappy customers due to missed ship dates and open repair tickets. Just a real weird situation all around.

I’m a Honeycomb apologist who wouldn’t be having half of the fun I have in the sim were it not for my yoke and throttle - for everyone who’s enjoyed this hobby because of their hardware, and out of respect for people’s jobs, I’m hoping everything’s okay.

Personal Comments and Observations

Someone reported their Shop Down status on their Facebook page going on 8h now. No response.

I tried contacting Shopify today and the email to them didn’t go through either. So maybe Shopify is the problem.

Speaking of rudders, this showed up on my feed. Granted, a year go I don’t think HC Rudders was a product yet, but for anyone looking for alternatives:
