Is it possible with MSFS to simulate Firefighter training?
Planes that can scoop up water into the tanks and then deploy it?

I doubt something like this will be added to the base sim, but itās almost certainly possible for a mod to produce.

I wonder if they have plans to update it to MFS 2020, once MFS completes water effects, if that matters. I think Iād buy it. It looks like fun and challenging.
Well they market MSFS as a āgameā why no one at Asobo has been working on these kind of aspects from inside the game is beyond me. Remember the crop dusting in older versions, or the fly with the Blue Angels in another, etc etc
I guess we have ābush flightsā but I fly that way all the time.
I see no reason to be negative about these things. Itās a good idea to put this in. It would require fire of courseā¦ burning trees, burning houses/sceneryā¦ and a particle model for the spraying of water. Theyād have to include smoke clouds as well, to let things look realistic. And a lessons procedureā¦ small job, two days of work and itās ready

You dont know if they tried anythingā¦ And when this would be a single personās job, they would have put fire, smoke and crop spraying in from the start. It may be quite a challengeā¦

The above is an addon for FSX and P3D, not for MSFS.
Maybe some third party developer CAN make this for MSFS ? Donāt know actuallyā¦ 
would be nice, I would certainly consider it.
Iām pretty sure Asobo will add more gamification to the sim in the future with the Xbox as device. There are so many cool possibilities. Firefighting is really a great one.

Air rescue would be another good one that used to be in game in the olden times that we dont have in here, of course no rotor craft so as it stands that might be a little limited. Crop dusting would be another good one that comes to mind, we have all those glorious fields out there (though nothing seems to be growin in them) to dustā¦

Absolutely agreeā¦ and there are a lot of forest fires in RL, why not have it in the simulator ? btw I regard it as simming, not gaming or āgamificationāā¦ Iād love to learn how to extinguish a forest fire properly with e.g. C152.

Makes me think of how much fun SIM COPTER was.
Heli and VTOL will be a blast.
Remember MS helicopter simulator, that copter always sounded like my dishwasher running ;p
My guess is that this could be done but probably by a 3rd party dev who would see it as a marketable and profitable project.
A good starting off point would probably be to get a few votes for it on this forum and take it from there.
