The Avionics update that they did for the 747 and 787 was a huge improvement. But on Xbox at least it completely broke those aircraft. Many times fixes have been promised but they’ve never actually yielded results. Thought I’d give the 747 another go yesterday and it was stuttering so badly that after 4 hours of real time, only 2.5 hours had passed on the sim. I don’t get these issues in any other aircraft; not even the inibuilds A20N v2 that everyone moans about
BravoAirspace did a mod for the 787 that fixes the issue for that but nothing exists for the 747. It does beg the question though - if BravoAirspace managed to fix the 787, why haven’t Working Title managed to fix the 747?
I’ve just been enjoying a return to flying the B747 and Pause at TOD is definitely a missing function that is likely to prevent me from doing longer flights.
However, with the promised default EFB for MSFS2024, I am hoping that all default aircraft will be given access to this function. I can but hope.
I think the 787 10 model is ok but the problem with the 787 10 the only thing missing is having a default 8 variant and 9 variant so it’s more different than fs2020 because in fs2020 we just have one variant, most airlines chose the 787 8 and the 787 9 variants so there’s not going to be a massive amount of 787 10 real world liveries available which is the reason i don’t enjoy the 10 variant because in fs2020 i was flying the 787 8 and 787 9 mods more then the 10 variant because of more liveries available
It’s ok it, it’s not the top level but it dose the job alright but i prefer the 787 8 kuro mod and the 787 9 mods more and you can actually program legs on the fmc I just don’t enjoy modern digital screen aircraft because I spent my time playing fsx and prefer older airliners from the early 2000’s more
