Me too.
After this, all my setting includes language, controllers and graphics ware lost.

Hopefully not permenantly. Im reluctant to launch the sim right now. Had enough issues last night when this kicked off to make me wary of continually trying to start it. Iā€™m seeing many of the strange screens others have shared. Some even reported a 30GB update. Totally weird. Iā€™m not launching sim again until it is resolved.

Ok, any speculation on what the problem is? Iā€™m hoping itā€™s an upgrade to faster better servers and praying itā€™s not a data breach. All day is definitely out of the norm to a degree.

Yeah, no problems booting up. There were already 2 players in my vacinity at over FL200.

Im in the UK just had a flight all good here (Steam version)

currently getting connection lost every few minutes. Then reconnects few seconds laterā€¦ repeats this cycle

Brief description of the issue:

The sim was working just fine 3 hours ago, but now without changing anything I have this error message when I start the sim. I tried without addons, also logging out from MS Store and Xbox App didnā€™t solve the issue. The topic about this issue was closed 11 hours ago, the mods said the servers are running just fine now and the issue SHOULD be resolved. It is not. At that time it was working for me but now it isnā€™t.

Thatā€™s the same message Iā€™m getting. I just got time to try and boot up and see if I can solve the ~1fps when taxiing on the ground that started after SU 9. Now I canā€™t even attempt to troubleshoot further. I have seen a ton of complaints from people about updates but have never had an issue with any until this week.

Do we know what the issues are at all? Itā€™s all kind of mysterious and vague, but its turning into quite a major outage.

Canā€™t they just give us the option to download scenery in batches or countries as this is beyond ridiculous - and on a weekendšŸ˜ž

Hmm. I was unable to log in for about 12 hours. Then didnā€™t try for about 12 hours.

Just now it let me in normally once.

Second attempt to log in gave the dreaded ā€œcanā€™t authenticateā€ message, but the sim started.

However, all the scenery looks very basic, and the entire outside view is horribly overexposed.

Not seen this before, so Iā€™m assuming itā€™s related to the server problems and not getting the correct data or whatever.

After a 3rd sim restart it seems to be behaving.

Perhaps the servers are still struggling.

Same thing happening here. Comes and goes. It was fine up to Thursday then Friday afternoon, was only barely able to get connected to the Friday FlyIn.

TEMPORARY SOLUTION: For those of you with a VPN, use it. Try a country far away/in different region. I can launch msfs no problem now.

Use VPN until server issues all cleared up.
