In MSFS 2020 you could hit the spacebar while in cockpit view to kind of sit up in your seat and get a better view over the nose. Does MSFS 2024 have the same thing? It’s clearly not bound to spacebar anymore as that isn’t working and I don’t know what this action was named to search for it in the control settings.
I don’t recall off the top my head what it is called, but search for “VFR”. I think that’s in the name. It does still exist, but I use the hat switch on my yoke to activate it instead of the keyboard. It still works.
Try to assign a button to “LANDING VIEW” 
Yes! It’s “Cockpit View Upper”. You can assign whatever key you want as needed.

With the default bindings Shift+Q and Shift+E will move you up and down in the cockpit. Shift+W,A,S,D will move you around in your cockpit.
