All of these airports are showing as addon airports. Does this just mean they’re higher quality than default? or is this a bug?
You’re at a high level there and at a high level like that, mostly the POI markers and airports you have downloaded will show up. Mine looks pretty much the same. As you zoom in more and more of the default airports will show. I think you are fine and it is not a bug. 
Yeah, but the thing is i didn’t download all those airports. Lots of them I’ve never even heard of before.
Did you install Navigraph AIRAC? That will do that.

yep, that makes sense. I wonder why they show as plug-in airports…do they change the AFCAD taxiways and parking positions?
I’m really sorry, I don’t know for sure. My only guess is that if MSFS doesn’t see it as part of the native (non-Community) package, then it will show like that.
