UPDATE

The laptop will be returned tomorrow and I got a nice PC that I will be able to use for gaming as well as for photography…

Desktop should be here tomorrow and I should be able to run MSFS in the highest possible quality.
Cant wait!

Nope, in my experience. Also, what you consider good will vary from person to person. I just watched a video made by a youtuber where there was a lot of jankiness at an airport he landed at. He’s got a nvidia gtx 1060 gpu and mine is a 1080ti. There was a huge difference between the scenery he has at the airport compared to the scenery I got. Take a look: https://imgur.com/a/AcdWRnW and original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqH5v2biFPA

Keep in mind that MSFS 2020 scales its overall performance (both visuals and fps) up or down depending on your hardware and internet speed. Watch some of the official MSFS discovery videos, specially the one made by lead engine developer Lionel Fuentes where he talks about how the sim takes into consideration your hardware and internet speed.

I got a new desktop with 64GB ram and 2080ti…its rocking now!

Yeah…that’s cool… I am mega happy with this one.
It was a pre-build PC

No worries. If it works for you, great. Just an unfortunate timing.

I know, i bought the 208ti a few months back for $1200, now the 3070 for $500 will match or beat its performance. bummer :unamused:

Shoot…i bought it as part of a built PC
