Quest 2 with 7900 xt and 5800x3d.
On mostly medium settings and around 1.0 render resolution I can get 80 FPS most of the time.
If complexity increases or I lift settings, the framerate halves to 40fps and goes into reprojection mode. This introduces stuttering and some screen tearing.
How can I trade off FPS for quality to make things more stable? Let’s say I wanted 40fps all the time, but higher settings, but in a more stable way.
I tried limiting the framerate to 40fps in the AMD software, it worked to limit the framerate but didn’t give me any more GPU headroom and so I still got stuttering and tearing.
How can I limit the FPS that the SIM is producing in order to have higher quality in a more stable way in VR?
