Issue with assisted takeoff - throttle keeps returning to zero on takeoff

Support/ticket told me to recalibrate my joystick .

I’ve asked them to reread (I have a feeling they didn’t read what I wrote anyway).

I fixed it by going into control options and clicking on the X52 and setting it to default. try it to see if it works for you

As far as I have heard, a lot of the “assistance” features don’t actually “assist” the flying.  It appears that they are designed to “assist” in creating emergency conditions!  At least that’s what it seems like to me.

I tried, (was foolish enough to try), the “assisted trim” which is supposed to help maintain straight and level flight. What it DID do is make it impossible to trim for level flight.  It made the plane nose-heavy, cancelled out any attempts to add positive pitch-up trim, and after about five minutes it would flip the left wing over in an un-commanded rolling maneuver, resulting in a crash, as the “assistance” would not allow me to control the aircraft after that point.

I tried this with several aircraft, all with the same result.

The only “assistance” features I use are autorudder, (my controller’s rudder stinks), and I’ve turned down turbulence to almost nothing so that I’m not on a high-speed roller-coaster every time I fly.

My Controller is a Saitek, (predating Logitech), X52 HOTAS.

Suggestion:  Avoid “assistance”.

Hello,

I have the same problem. I took off in a twin engine private jet. As I’m making my way down the runway my engines wind down right before V1. It’s really annoying. I have a new Homeycomb Throttle Quadrant. Thank you guy for any advice you can offer.

Check to see if you have reverse thrust mapped to same axis or if you have it on. My throttle quadrant (Honeycomb bravo throttle quadrant) has reverse thrust and when pulled back it makes the game go crazy. I hope this helps!
