I’ve not seen this happen. It’s probably bad luck in that specific place.
Where you fly?
No particular place, I’ve seen trains in various US states and Switzerland. I guess Zürich was one of them.
I just noticed an issue when trying to fly in the Buffalo Niagara Falls area. CTD everytime. When I disable FS Trains North America it loads in fine.
Edit: This is in MSFS2024 SU4 Beta, I’ve not tested it in MSFS2020 as I don’t use it anymore.

Purchased this Addon quite some time ago, and been testing frequently on two different machines, a very powerful some older gaming desktop, as a pretty good clean reenforced cooled medium 250W modern 2025 laptop. Xbox X I skipped now quite some time ago due to lack of compatibility with FS2020 somehow.
I got also these results, but not as worse as yours.
My on-screen train have also the tendency to go under the ground and simply disappear. Or erratic regular on same spot ride through a invisible wall, to some other universe, which is not on my screen anymore.
EXACT same thing happened to me awhile back, and I posted about it here. I do wish the developer would fix it, so I could re-enable the package and enjoy what was a great add-on!
