Issue still there in FS2024 after the patch.
How complicated can it be to fix???
They could just make newer messages come to the top. No change needed other than where it inserts the next text then. Easy peasy!
It doesnât always scroll to top, at least for me most of the times it stops 1-2 lines above the last one. VERY ANNOYING!!!

Agreed. Sometimes it scrolls to the top, sometimes a couple of messages above the last one.
And since ATC callsign doesnât work and it keeps calling the livery name, you have to keep a constant eye on the windows because itâs impossible to know when ATC is calling you.
Theres been a lot of times where I checked the ATC windows just to see the message âIFR services terminatedâ because of those two bugs working together.

Same issue here, I really hope it gets fixed.
Even while you have the window open, it will scroll up after a new ATC message is added. Extremely annoying.

When it is finally fixed please make it so that when we open that ATC window it has automatically scrolled down to the last conversation. The constant scrolling down to see what was last said was such a PAIN in FS2020

For me, even leaving the ATC panel open itâs often scrolling up as Iâm looking at it. Very annoying I have to keep scrolling back to see what my last message was.
This FS2024 ATC is now even worse than the FS2022 version, which was bad enough in itself. Then we had the loss of ATC voices, now I often get two voices at once. Final and landing are a complete mess - if I followed ATC instructions, I donât think I would ever get to land.
At FS2024 launch, it was said thet Working Title would soon be looking into sorting the ATC out. That sounded promising. In the last Q&A, there was no mention of this, so I wonder if itâs slipped off the radar yet again! I remember when WT first joined the team years ago, ATC was mentioned as being on their TODO list. That never happened in FS2020, and I fear it will never happen in FS2024.
Do you have the same issue if you follow the OPâs steps to reproduce it?

I agree it is a problem to have this list positioning « randomly » when it is opened or when new message arrive. Suggestion : Always put the list position on the last message exchange for my aircraft OR have a button to filter and see all messages / only messages for my aircraft.
Also, the new ATC window donât remember it size and where it is during last flight (regression from FS2020).
And the space for the pilot option list is really short (2 or 3 lines)
To reproduce the problem, just use ATC, each people using it has they troubles

Donât use the binding âdisplay ATCâ⊠use the binding âopen communications panelâ this will then toggle the ATC window open/close.

I hate that you also now have to scroll through the airports list. Then when you select airports further away, you then have to scroll back up to check the list, and then back down to select airports further away.
I have found when having to do this, the airport that Iâm looking for has moved to the previous list page.

It is insane you canât just select an airport by entering the tower frequency in coms.

And could be very nice to have this window transparent y control. On a background with cloud, it is impossible to read the content
