Issues with IniBuilds A350

6 FPS…

This is with 5800X3D, 4090 and 64GB RAM at TLOD 100

It’s absolutely outrageous how broken this has become.

Is that with a totally vanilla install?

Try without addons.

Can you try with a default plane? The a350 is one of the heaviest planes performance wise there is, so it’s hard to know whether this is a sim problem, or an inibuilds problem.

Only thing is the a350

Also which airport is this? Just in case anyone else wants to load in at the same spot with the same plane, to see what happens.

Gibraltar - default, or handcrafted, i.e not 3rd party, Parking 5

Hop in the Cessna 172 and see what happens.

This is an Inibuilds problem not a sim problem.

Okay, I loaded up in the a350-1000, at the same airport, at the same spot.

I did go back to SU2 though. Here’s what it shows for me.

I have a 7900x CPU, and a 4070ti GPU, with 64GB of RAM.

I feel like the 5800X3D and 7900x shouldn’t be that different? Or maybe it is. We both appear to be mainthread limited.

I don’t have an empty community folder, it’s loaded with quite a bit of stuff.

I’m not sure what to make of it. Are you on the latest version of the a350?

I do have DLSS preset on, set to balanced. I also have framegen on.

For another comparison, I loaded up in the 737 Max at the same spot, and was getting 113FPS, the a350 definitely is a very heavy plane performance wise.

Managed to take off

Now 97 fps

It’s that ■■■■ RdrThread when at airports

When at airports you can try the following:

Turn off multiplayer
Turn down traffic airport quality under graphic settings.
Turn down air traffic under graphic settings.

I think those are the settings that hit the CPU the hardest.

At Gibraltar you’re near a harbor, so maybe try turning off ship traffic. Maybe its a problem with the ships.

Also now I’m just confused with all the messages being moved around.

I don’t know where my other replies went, refreshed my page and they were just gone.

Why are you rendering at 4K but have a much smaller screen resolution? Your GPU will work much harder to render a larger frame.

Please, it is nothing to do with this, I have flown these same settings, since MSFS 2020, SU1 of 2024 and the early betas of SU2 2024.

This issue only starts since getting terrible performance on the ground and when about to land since the last few beats of SU2, when other people notice the exact same thing.
