Ok so I think ‘one month passes’ for silly $ is going to have to be something that Asobo look into, especially if it is impacting player immersion (whether dedicated PC user or Xbox user) as noone taking the game serisoly wants their immersion ruined.
Without stereotyping, PC users do not get to dip their toe in the water for £1 they have to want it at a £60 entry fee. If anyone on Xbox can come in take a look for £1 and if all they want is a fast play arcade game then they will be more likely to act as the OP has described, again this would be equally true if the same offer was made via steam for PC users.
I get that the Xbox Community has not been welcomed with open arms by the PC community, there are legitimate concerns in the mix that need to be addressed by Asobo/MS. This does not make all PC users that raise legitimate, demonstrateable concerns (rather than some of the hyperbole that does exist) ‘Xbox haters’.
Similarly, if eveytime a PC user raises a legit issue that, yes, may point at Xbox users then just as the ‘PC hyperbole’ is not fair, nor is it fair of Xbox users to point fingers and say ‘its not us gov your just prejudiced against Xbox users’.
Both user groups have to come together and work together to make this a single user community for pilots that want to enjoy high fidelity flight simulation.
For reference: I am not an Xbox Community hater as I have tried to make clear in the post below, but I think Asobo/MS does need to ensure MSFS is a bastion for high fidelity flight simulation for all users.
