Game is not playable due to performance issues, black screens, CTDs, and visual degradation, graphics/POIs, and photogrammetry loading in late in busy cities. Live traffic not working as intended - and a myriad of other issues.
However, can Asobo please release the next version sooner rather than later so that we can at least have decent performance and visuals on Series X for now? The current version is just not usable at the moment, it’s a test of patience - unless you fly around in flat looking areas all the time with no PG and a vanilla/Asobo GA plane.
Rushing out patches is the opposite of what Asobo should do. That’s how we end up with the latest patch, that breaks basic AP functionality, and CTDs when entering certain 2020 planes.
Funny how sometimes people want devs to rush, which brings bugs and issues which others complain about. And somehow you manage to complain about both at the same time
The beta version is for developers to test the game, it is not for players to have an updated version, if you are looking for a more stable version you can always consider the Su2 version
I did consider that, believe me, but it’s a no-go: blurry ground textures, bad draw disances, non-existent external lights during the day, and many other issues. I’ll take SU3 beta over it without second thought - BUT it would be nice to have a stable version with minimal performance and visual issues, that’s all.
Oh, this time I wouldn’t subscribe to that point of view.
They could roll back - 15.8.0 beta was quite nice IMHO and far better that the so called ‘stable’ SU2.

The beta should give testers the chance to fly, sure with problems to report and all the rest, but this beta can’t be tested on xbox because the level is really poor, with 5fps you can’t test anything. In my opinion Su2 should be considered an alpha because of how much it sucks.
I understand they had the weekend and that these things take time, but beta update 1.5.9.0 has made the sim nearly unplayable with issues like NAV and heading mode not working properly. Hopefully we can expect a hotfix in the coming days.
As this is an open, public beta for everyone to join it’s obviously not aimed for developers only. In that case the beta would be a closed one with keys handed over to specific developers for feedback (there are multiple environments existing for something like that, for development and for marketing).
The intention of this beta versions is to collect feedback from all participants in form of telemetry and written feedback over here or at the developer forums. It’s valuable to collect this data due to the multitude of systems and configurations around, especially on the users end.
If the beta turns out to be “not for you” due to the amount of issues it comes with imho the only things to do are:
reporting whatever is stopping you from using the beta on existing or new topics to provide your information
leave the beta and continue with the public version as a “daily driver”
As a beta tester I expect to have ups and downs in new builds but total >wipe-out< was not on my horizon. Asobo needs to add a push bike to our library / hanger so I can at least ride around the airport or from departure to destination without any down time until a new build or hotfix.
Don’t worry, this beta will be released as full SU3 with all the old and also a bunch of new bugs I understand that it will be hard to say then that don’t worry, it’s just beta? if you don’t like it, then… what?
