Hi there. So I’ve ran into this issue with jetways. It connects differently every time. I’ve got 3 screenshots here of the exact same jetway connected to the exact same plane at the exact same spot with 3 different results! I’ve spent 2 days trying to figure out how to make them connect properly, yet no solution. You can have 2 parking spots and the jetway will connect however it wants to.
1st case: Absolutely perfect connection
2nd case: It didn’t even bother coming close to the door
3rd case: Hood goes through the fuselage
Yes, jetways become a mess after SU5
I hope they fix them on August 26 update

I’ve invested the past week making my own Jetway based on the SDK example for 3D Max. The 130+ Jetways at my custom airport used the stock jetway SimObjects provided with the sim, these started causing quality check flags after the last update, and needed replacing.
Half of that investment was just getting the Babylon Exporter functional again as 0.14 seemed to break it. After regressing back to SDK 0.13 the Max plugin was operational again and I was able to develop and compile a new Jetway SimObject which so far behaves the same way observed with the stock ones pre update 5 without eating the aircraft or ground telling me to try later, or dancing around in external view.
These new findings are very concerning, especially for content developers who will be required to issue refunds when the customer isn’t happy.
OP, can you change this to a BUG so that we can vote? I’ve noticed this inconsistency since SU5 as well.
Can you guide me on how I can change this to a bug? Thank you
Edit: Figured it out

When I spawn in at a default airport the jetways refuse to extend and connect. (Even when using the ATC ground services, the ATC says ‘unable to connect’). But when I land at the same airport and try to connect the jetway, I experience no issues.
At most of the non-default airports I have no issues at all so far.
Very strange
