For Steam it “may” be the the location below. I say “may” as I don’t have the Steam version so I can cannot categorically say:
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MicrosoftFlightSimulator\Input

I can’t speak to that person’s issues, but when I bought my new PC two weeks ago, after installing the sim and launching it for the first time, all my controller configurations sync’d from my MS account and were just there, untouched, including some custom versions I’ve made over the last few months for specific planes.
Does anyone know if input configuration files are stored locally at all?
The two locations mentioned above are no longer relevant.
My device changed identifier after a firmware update. I’d prefer to edit a text file and update its Id if possible rather than reconfigure.
