I have my rudders mapped to a button on my stick; my flaps are on the same button. Works just fine. I’d worry more about the number of programmable inputs. You can do whatever you want with the buttons and switches. I use the black button below the red one. Left/right is rudders; up/down is flaps. My thumb rests there, so it’s perfect for me. I believe it’s an 8-way input, so you can do even more with it if you want. I only need 4 out of it.
