Joystick not binding to 3rd Party Aircraft

Having just reinstalled windows and FS2024 , the latest version I find my Thrustmaster joystick is not recognised by my Just Flight PA28. works fine with core aircraft. I seem to recall this issue from years ago but can’t find it.

Could someone direct me ?
