Completely agree. Except for managing the camera I think I can do everything from the joystick. I’ve set different profiles for glider, jet, piston and turboprop. Just change profiles and we’re done.
Edit: one thing I miss is dual throttle, which I had on the Saitek AV8R (which I still have but sees seldom use). The X56 has dual throttle but reports say quality is way inferior to the X52 Pro (albeit there are also good experiences, but I didn’t want to bet)

I purchased the VKB Gladiator NVT EVO - Premium flight stick.
Replacing my Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS joystick.
Very impressive features.
Can be programmed within itself with its own provided software.
This can be very complicated but powerful. A stiff learning curve is required.
It has an 8 position POV HAT that can also function as a mouse.
I took the easy way. I programmed it completely with the FS2020 Profile Manager. (without the mouse)
The thing that got my interest is that I don’t need to learn
Axis and Ohs or Spad.next or the Behringer X-Touch that
I was considering.
Edit 2 : 9/4/2023 Bindings for the NXT EVO standalone and the NXT EVO with the FSM-GAA.

A great buy - I have been very happy with my Gladiator, and after over 1,000 hours flying it still looks and feels just as good as when new.
I also have 2 x THQ’s and an SEM module attached to the sides of the Gladiator, and the FSM GA switch module on the MFH mount, making a fairly chunky sized hotas. Not having to mess around with spad.next etc. is definitely a big benefit, although up until now the ‘Heading Sync’ function still doesn’t work properly in MSFS, so I habe a simple Mobiflight script running to cover that one function. Happy to help with further details if needed.
