The main reason i ask for this is the fact that yokes and sticks have very different ranges of motion. Most people use a regular joystick for all planes myself included. Well, the Airbus can and should be flown with 100% sensitivity whereas “yoke planes” require a 33% sensitivity because yokes have a much higher range of motion. So it would be very nice to have a sensitivity setting for each plane or a couple of presets to choose from with a hotkey or via the dropdown menu.
That would make sense if you played with a different yoke/joystick for each plane.
Well, the concept of non-linear inputs is exactly what i described above. The more range an input device has the more precise it is. The less range it has the quicker it becomes. Ask shooter players with high and low mouse sensitivity settings. You trade accuracy for speed or vice versa. Most aircraft use yokes, so they are “precise” input devices but if you only play with a joystick you need to trade your “speed” for accuracy, which means you have to choose a non-linear setting. 66% of the joystick range is precise then and the rest becomes very speedy. The last 33% are rarely in use anyway, except wind countering after landing or so. So we can play with joystick only and make it feel right with various sensitivity settings, but ideally we need one for each plane, that’s what i was trying to say.
You can make different Joystick presets for each aircraft you use.
You can create multiple profiles. I am loading a different profile before flying, because like you said, GA aircraft need different approach from fbw airliners.
I believe FSUIPC allows this, but I don’t have it.

That sounds great! Can you point me somewhere to learn about this? Thanks, Mike
It’s in the Preset Manager under Controls. Click on the controller you want to have a new profile for, then on Preset Manager at the bottom of the screen. The big “+” is the button to start a new profile. Set everything up the way you want for GA (as an example), name it and save it. Repeat the process for the big hair dryers.
Edit… Since it also includes all your button settings, if all you want is to change sensitivities, you may want to use the Copy function to make a new profile with all the buttons already set, then just change the sensitivity curves.
any one please make me a topic for my issue, i can not do it cause im new in this forum:
after installing the 127G of the game another +120G update show up wont lwt me even to check the game if this update woth it or not, here is my issue:
After 127Gb downloading and installing, there is anther very long update download(+125Gb), the 5th day in a row waiting, and I realize that at 65Gb left , the download crash and start over I pictured the very big file that crash(fs-base-cgl-0.1.21.fspackage.023 …)
