Junkers JU52 - Honeycomb Issues (Maybe)

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with Ju52, the original, not the retrofit, where every time I create a Honeycomb Bravo profile for the aircraft I lose the ability to control the rudders with my Logitech Saitek pedals. The same profile has no issues with the Retrofit version of the same aircraft.

Is there a control lock somewhere I’m missing? Or is it likely going to be one of my switch bindings?

Thanks.

I have the same problem and only with the 1939 JU-52. All other planes are fine.
The Logitech Pedals don´t work as it should, the Rudder flaps back to a straight position if you press the pedal more as 5 cm to left/right.
A hidden control lock or a bug ?

That’s the one. The weird thing is that I got in the other day and my throttle was still set to some other setting and could manipulate the rudder as you would expect. As soon as I selected my jU52 profile, the rudder locks up

I did some testing with the JU 52 1939

  1. I started the FS without my Honeycomb stuff (Throttle and Throttle Bravo Q) only with the Pedal.
    Rudder worked perfekt .

  2. I connected the Throttle.
    Still works

  3. I connected the Throttle Bravo Q.
    Still works

  4. I restarted the FS with the connected equipment
    Still works

  5. I went through the Checklist to start engines etc. and finished
    Rudder stopped working…
    6 . I disconnected the Throttle Bravo Q.
    Rudder works.

  6. I connected the Throttle Bravo Q. again
    Rudder stopped working…

  7. I restarted the FS etc. with all equip. connected and went through the checklist to start engine etc. one by one.
As Rudder was working as soon as I press the BAT switch on the Throttle device or press the BAT straight in the plane…Rudder stopped working…if I disconnect the Throttle Bravo Q… Rudder works…connect Throttle Bravo B. …Rudder stopped working.
That is a really weird problem I point to a bug… question is…where.

When I get some time I’m going to start a new throttle quadrant profile and remove every binding and see what happens. It’s super odd, and I’ve only seen one other person talk about it so far.

Thanks for the testing you’ve performed so far.

I wonder if there is anyone out there with the same Hardware (Saitek Pedals, Honeycomb Throttle and Throttle Quadrant) and has no problem with the Rudder on the JU 52-1939 as described.
Please confirm.
Most people seem to fly the re-issue JU 52 which has no Rudder Problem.

I’m having the same exact problem.!

I have same problem as well. Logitech/Saitek pedals, Honeycomb alpha yoke, Honeycomb beta Throttle Quadrant. Rudder just flaps when input applied to the pedals, buy only on the 1939 Version of the JU 52. The retrofit version works fine, as does every other plane I have
I seem to remember the rudder not working right after I purchased the Ju 52 - but was fixed in an update, Maybe the first fix was not very robust.

Same Problem with Thrustmaster pedals

I solved the blocked rudder pedals by deleting some of the not needed knobs like autopilot on the bravo throttle quadrant profile - this works for me

I noticed a few of the autopilot controls were always triggered by hardware buttons on the Bravo.
I removed the following assignments:

  • Auto Throttle to GA
  • Yaw Damper Off
  • Yaw Damper On

I removed all of these but I suspect the first one caused the issue.
