Just bought game - Crash to desktop on fresh installation of MSFS

Hello guys,

I just bought the game via steam and I am not able to open and play the game. This is really frustrating I don’t know what to do, please help me.

My current configuration is: Windows 10 Pro, all updates are up-to-date.
HP pavilion gaming laptop, AMD Ryzen 7 3750H 2.3GHz, graphics GTX 1660 TI 6GB with Max-Q design, 16GB of RAM, all drivers are up to date.

When I try to start the game from steam, it opens a window, there is this logo XBOX Game studios coming up and then the window minimizes and I can see the desktop and I hear a starting sound… then the window closes and that’s all. How can I make this to start?

I just bought today this game and really wanted to give it a shot.

Welcome to the forums. Before you post we ask that you search the forums for topics covering the subject you are interested in. There are many topics on CTDs from installation through to in flight.
