And in case anyone wants to ‘up vote’ the idea of increasing the object limit - I’ve had a post on the dev support forum for a couple of months asking for it.
Plenty of support from other devs - no response from Asobo.

Yeah, I’ll try that in a few weeks time after they release few updates. I’m already back to FSLTL, and I don’t feel like spending another hour uninstalling it and reinstalling FST just for trying things out.
Besides, based on other feedback of the addon only working between departure airports and destination airport on a single flight session and doesn’t work on a multiple turnaround flight is just a dealbreaker as well. Even if it works for me, but if it works that way, then it’s useless too. No point in me using it at this stage until further improvement updates on the engine.
I’m sticking to FSLTL for now.
I honestly think we need object profiles.
By this I mean, Prioritise AI Aircraft over say ships, cars ground clutter, I mean flying say over the USA e.g. KLAS to KDEN who cares about boats, but say a nice VFR around the bay Area we might want Boats ships over AI Planes, this way we could find a nice balance up to the limit
So if the limit was say 100 objects
We could say 40% AI Planes / 20% Boats / 20% ground clutter / 10% Cars / 10 % workers
I dont know but something like that would at least allow us to control it, anything outside of that just dies and we then have control over our FPS. I know we kind of have that, but I think making it more simple and direct so we can see and set the percentages and expectation…at the moment you can 100% all of it and not know what is really going on?
Maybe I am missing something, but that is my thoughts
I have a question. What is an object.
It may seem a stupid question - but is a static scenery (ie a house, a boat (not moving), parked cars, cargo containers in airports) an object that counts against the total?
Or is an object something that moves - like moving cars, moving boats, moving ground vehicles etc?
My problem with JS Trafic is that it is inconsistent in its ability to inject traffic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. When it does not I can turn on live and get a lot of traffic. So its not an object issue for me (i dont think). Sometimes it can be on - i remove and regenerate and get no traffic.
Looking forward to some updates.

Warned people about this as far back as December about nothing changing until AI/ATC gets fixed. People bought anyways thinking it’d fix something. Any complaints about go arounds or engine related issues have had plenty of foreknowledge, discussions, and warnings. Aside from more customizable features per say, it’s still just models/liveries AND a schedule instead of live.
I’m sure Just Flight are working on the issues ASAP.
Not sure what happened during beta for these obvious issues to make it to release, but I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had ZERO faith in Just Flight and didn’t actually expect it to be somewhat crippled because of ai issues on the MS/Asobo side.
I’ll give it time and reinstall it after some patch/updates.
That’s what I am thinking, that’s what the purpose of Beta testing is for. Something tells me they realized there was nothing to do about it and released on the hopes that people thinking they would have fixed core issues to drive sales. Looking at the amount of people throwing the term refund around since it’s been what 3 days?, tells me it worked. Regardless of the warnings or information pointing to not being positive, people will impulse by anyways and then complain why it didn’t live up to their expectations. Don’t fault the developers, fault the buyers for not doing their research.
I’m having the same issue. It worked seamlessly on first start. But i can’t get it working after that. Reinstalling the software seems to fix it, but i can’t reinstall every time i want to fly, that’s crazy talk. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
Here’s the link to the solution provided by Bill Davis of FedEX Air Cargo VA in AVSIM.
I see it the other way around.
When I buy a product, I can expect it to work perfectly.
I don’t have to and don’t want to research whether the advertising is wrong or right.
The main value I got out of buying this atrocity was appreciating what an amazing piece of free software FSLTL really is. Never had any problems with it and my skies and airports are always full of planes!
I feel the same way but I’m hopeful Just Flight will resolve the issues via a hotfix in the coming days.
this software really is an atrocity (as someone said above). I really help the devs put the time in to fix this
Hi !
Indeed, I meet the same issue…
Raised a ticket. The reply back was basically to read the manual, even though I clearly stated what I had done. Really ■■■■ off with Just Flight.
I’m not sure what the contents of your ticket were but one of the correct steps to try and help people who are having teething problems is indeed to ‘read the manual’. That and to watch the initial Quick Start Video and to check out the FAQs on our support site.
Doing one or all of those things has actually helped some people resolve their problems and enabled them to get FST working as desired. They’re just the common sense basic steps to look at first. It’d be folly of our support team to ignore that to begin with. It’s usually the starting point and can sometimes save time and help the user out as it has in some cases with FST.
Now if you follow those steps and you still have no joy then most certainly reply to the team telling them that’s the case and look for further assistance. They’ll then do their job and work with you to try and alleviate your problems. I’m not saying they’ll be 100% successful and your problems might well continue in which case it’s likely you’ll need to benefit from an upcoming update that the team are working on to help solve your issues. If the problem is much deeper and and something we’re not able to sort for you then we can work with you and take the necessary next steps. We don’t take pleasure in seeing users struggling with the product, we do care, Not caring isn’t our way and we don’t want you ■■■■ off. We’ll do all we can to ensure you have a satisfactory outcome in the end and that goes for all customers. All I would say is we just need users who are in touch with support to bear with us and be patient. There are a good number who are in touch with our support team and working through every case takes time, it has to be done methodically and whilst conferring and working with the developers to ensure we have the right and needed information from the user and to ensure we’re able to manage and work on the solution in the best way possible. I understand it’ll be frustrating for you but you won’t be ignored or pushed to one side, rest assured.
If you’re initial reply simply read ‘Read the Manual’ without further context I’d be surprised. If that was the case do let me know but as I say above the actual advice conveyed in the correct manner isn’t bad advice to kick things off with. Thanks for reading and your custom to this point.
Well actually it’s worth it alone for their models + liveries. They are quite alot better than from other AI softwares. Just have to wait until more liveries coming and FSLTL can inject FSTraffic models.
I was just about to post this. Yes agree. depends on how often they are used or prioritised though, but any model/livery fill in is nice to have. Not sure I need more though with FSLTL+AIG models filling in.
Can’t for those GA fllughtplans to be released:grinning:
FS traffic is just wonderfull👍
for me its work also together with FSLTL, both at the same time.
