Just Flight have announced the Fokker F28 Fellowship

I suspect JF are just very busy readying these aircraft. Things are definitely progressing in the beta.

Was there not a F-28 video last month? ( March to be clear )

Felt like they were starting to show all the features with videos but there wasnt anything more coming after that one video. Even says they want to release it in 1 or 2 months, but well see.

The 146 FMS/update, the RJ, the F-28, the F-70, the Tomahawk and the Hawk update is an awful lot to be juggling atm ( iignoring longer term projects )- I’d be tempted to take on a PR member for a little, honestly!

Keep in mind that balance is hard to find when it come to online progress updates.

Keeping the public informed is hard when part of the userbase is saying “don’t hype what we can’t buy!” and the other part is saying “Why aren’t we seeing your progress?”

There’s a couple more to add to that list too! Don’t worry, JF will make us all happy!

True. And it’s no big thing with JF as far as I’m concerned, because they seem to be a top quality outfit that eventually delivers the goods … and very good goods.

But to manage expectations, if you say or intimate things like “imminent patch” or “hopefully next week” - thinking about the promised patches here more than the new releases - then it makes good sense to hop on again with a one sentence update “things taking longer, still working on them, likely won’t be this/next/the one after week”. I mean we all do that with the things we’ve promised our children, spouses, bosses etc. It’s just good people management.

After this one I’d personally rather not follow updates anymore, and just wait for the BIG BANG release.

Our focus has very much been on development, leaving less time than we’d like for previews. Along with all the complex systems coding work, a huge amount of work has gone into upgrading the cockpit and exterior, including the addition of the detailed cabin. This will be covered in detail in some upcoming In Development updates, leading up to release in the next month or two.

Unfortunately there’s just no quick way to develop airliners with this level of systems and visual complexity, to the standards now expected in MSFS.

Since the update talked about sound, will the engines have hush kits fitted, or no, or will there be a mix?

Will check that, I think they will. Will certainly be featured in the In Dev Sounds video if they’re in there.

Looks amazing, will definetely be worth the wait.

There is an option on the EFB tablet for enabling/disabling the hush kits. We’ll confirm shortly how those impact the engine sounds.

Thanks for the response! That’s much more flexibility than I expected to be honest.

In case you missed it, we posted a new In-Development preview last week covering some of the exciting features we have recently added to our passenger cabin:

INCREDIBLE look at this, the first contender capable of seriously rivaling the Fenix V2 has arrived:

I have never seen anything like this in such a glorious quality!
X-Plane biz jets (like the Hotstart Challenger) sometimes have a few lights to toy around in the cabin but this amount of functions details and visual quality here presented by Justflight is absolutely amazing.
And the sound quality is outstanding - the airstairs with the rattling of the handrail when making contact with the ground for example is top notch AAA finest quality.

I absolutely look forward to see new videos of this Gunnar Viking in development!

And here we witness Gunnar Viking rising from the depths of Valhalla to be the only contender capable of challenging the Fenix V2 with it´s beyond magnificent ultra high quality cabin!

Uh wow this cabin is so impressive, the windows are high-polygon and fully round, the lighting is perfect and gorgeous details details details everywhere.

Sorry but as enthusiastic freight dog I must ask this question… is a cargo version with this amount of quality and details planned to? With rolls on the ground and detailed straps and cargo nets and stuff?
Or will it be passenger variant only?

Incredible quality, even the small fire extinguisher hidden in the air stairs of the exterior 3D model looks way more high quality high polygon super mesh-tesselation superb texture quality than what many devs use as fire extinguisher 3D model for their virtual cockpit:

Oh wow I hope so much that other plane the little Jumbolino 146 will get an overhaul to be brought to this absolute Fenix next level quality like this masterpiece her!
This is so cool.

This looks absolutely amazing. I just may have to get this now. Bringing realism to a whole new level there.
