I think you are correct. I remember reading about early jets, that pilots making the transition from the P51 to the F86, had initial trouble making the adjustment to throttle response differences.

More modern turbines are likely improved, but the physics involved would seem to support “sluggishness” for turbines versus faster response for IC engines.

Of course, if The Red Arrows fly Hawks these must be pretty good aircraft. :slight_smile:
