I was just browsing their shop earlier and it was fine. Now I want to install my add-ons bought there and it doesn’t work.
Went to the shop - or tried to - and it’s down. That in itself is no biggie - these things happen, I’ll just have to wait to install my add-ons (assuming it’s nothing terminal).
What is really frustrating, though, is that Air Hauler won’t run, because it can’t call home. I never knew this was a requirement every time the program is run and that it can’t run without it and I find it pretty unacceptable, given that authentication is required when installing.
This is definitely going to affect my purchasing from Just Flight in future - I’ve got dozens of add-ons from the late '90’s through to FS2020 but I can’t see me supporting them any longer if this is how it’s going to be.
Thing is, I tested and also can’t install their stuff to P3D4 - and yet I already have those products licensed on this PC, so something isn’t right, in addition to their shop & server being down.
Just Flight’s website is not down. So, perhaps something else is causing issues. If you bought some add-ons and they won’t download/install, then contact the support team from Just Flight. They allways respond.
I have also add-ons via Just Flight and when installing be aware, that in the first fase, there might be a pop-up called PKUNZIP and that is looking for certain files and that may take some time.
I have several ways to access the site on different hardware and different browsers and I’m getting a site unavailable on all of them - in addition to nothing getting through to the server, so somethings not quite right. Everything else on the 'net has been fine.
PS - the issue is still valid, though -no internet or conatct to there sevrer for any reason = no using some paid add-ons, which is why I have reconsidered using it.
