Airport Lelystad EHLE is a completely renovated an chanced to an international airport. The runway has been extended to 2700 m and a completely new passengers terminal has been built. Air traffic and airspace, routes and procedures at the airport are handled by air traffic control. The airport is from a small airfield for the general (private) aviation turned into an airport for international air traffic.Ready for future use for passenger aircraft. The opening is imminent.
Included in FS2020 is a very simple version of the old airfield, as it was before the refresh. In order to still be able to fly to and from Lelystad in the sim as it is now, i have placed the ad-on of Lelystad Airport - EHLE for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS in my Community map, so that Airport Lelystad (EHLE ) is completely realistic.
However, now I have one question. If you fly to Airport Lelystad, the control tower in FS2020 is called with “Tower” . It would be much more realistic if the text “Lelystad Tower” is used in the communication. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

I agree with you that just ‘tower’ is a bit poor since you want to know who you’re talking with…
But I don’t know how this can be fixed…
Fun fact about the 747 at the Aviodrome museum: It’s the PH-BUK.
My father took a ride to Houston Texas with it as a passenger in the early 80’s.
Years later my brother started his KLM carreer on this exact plane as a coco.

I myself have been in it, but unfortunately no one is allowed in the cockpit in the aircraft at the Aviodrome museum these days.
The Lelystad Airport and the Aviodrome museum are worth a visit for anyone who loves airplanes and their history.
Does anyone have an idea how you can change the name of the tower, perhaps in the software or in the add-on, so that ATC and the captains use the correct name “Lelystad Tower”?
