We have a dedicated full-time Product Manager who works with our marketing and web team to ensure that any updates for third-party products are processed as quickly as possible, but that can only happen once the developer in question has supplied us with the necessary files and information. That isn’t always immediate even if we chase them, although I’m not aware of the specifics in this particular case.
Regarding the heading bug command assignments issue, we have a large testing team who check all our updates before they are released but unfortunately this one slipped through the net. It should now be addressed via the same-day hotfixes on our forum, and the installers will be updated shortly:
We are already aware of several potential SU8-related issues with our aircraft and testing has been underway for a while using the early-access SU8 builds. However we have learned from past experience that those things often change prior to, and even after the initial SU release, so we’ll be waiting for a stable SU8 build before we then release further updates for our aircraft.
As ever, we are committed to providing timely updates for all our aircraft to address issues introduced by SUs, as well as taking advantage of any new functionality they provide.
For your information The Kodiak update has not been released yet from SWS. They updated the changelog in anticipation for it back on the 17th but their server migration got stuck and they are a bit behind schedule.
They’ve made an announcement on their Discord & Facebook space that the update is not out yet and when available it will be released concurrently to all vendors. At that point we’ll get it updated and email all those who purchased from us.
May I wish for another improvement. You have the phantastic PMS GTN750 in your Arrows. Now that PMS has added the functionality of the WT 1000 NXi flightplan manager and autopilot ( In-cockpit WTT Mode) please update your planes to have this functionality available in the GTN750. Would be a huge leap forward. Thanks for considering.
Thanks for the updates on the hotfixes.
Can we install them from the links provided? I followed the download links posted but there are no installers just some xml files etc… do I just copy them into the folders from yesterdays update?
Yes, you can install them manually into the package folder(s) using the hotfix zips linked in the change logs or you can wait for the installers to be updated, which should be happening today.
I haven’t seen anyone saying there are any problems with the Hawk since the last update.
I have not had a chance to try it since the v0.1.5 update.
Have you noticed any problems that need fixing?
