JustFlight Piper Arrow VS Mode

I’ve built a replica Arrow panel and an expanded autopilot “box” and would like to use Mobiflight to program a physical button for whichever variable is triggered when you click on the hidden spot for VS Mode, and I’d like to program an encoder to adjust the Vertical Speed Rate dial (?) that is normally done with the mouse wheel in that same area. I have tried SOOO many variables, and haven’t found them. I’ve read the manual looking for clues. I’ve enabled developer mode and searched the Locals, to no avail.

I’ve successfully programmed the Autopilot Engage, Heading Switch, NAV/GPS switch, 5-position Selector Dial & Heading Bug, but for the life of me I can’t find which VS Mode or VS Speed Rate functions…

Anybody.?.

I did this ages ago when I produced my Air Manager PA28 panel. Because it was a while ago I don’t 100% with confidence say that I remember using the standard sim connect stuff for VS. What I do remember is it did work.

I may have found a workaround…

(I’m considering buying the Carenado Arrow.)

That would be a step backwards. The JF arrows are the ones to have IMHO.

I’m curious, what makes the JF Arrow better? I’m not into eye candy, as I’ve built my own panel, or perfect sound replication.

I really just need an Arrow flight model / ICAO for Pilot Edge and an Autopilot that works.

Not at all related to your question, just wanted to say that the cockpit looks sick. Awesome work.

I’m similar actually and therefore strive for the best flight model and systems modelling I can get. JF have a strong record of doing better in both areas. Carenado are very nice visually but if that’s not what floats your boat I’d stick with JF.

Wait, what, that things REAL?!

Well now you’re bragging

Seriously speaking, I love the work you’ve done there. Looks awesome by any standard.
