KAP140 Autopilot - HDG mode not working (nor NAV mode) in C185 Skywagon

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

HDG mode not working in KAP140 autopilot for C185 Skywagon.

After AP is activated, ROL mode is active by default. Changing to HDG mode does not control heading of the aircraft. Changing the desired course does not affect the heading.

Same problem is observed in NAV mode.

Aircraft continues flying wing leveled, and unable to turn.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Occurs every time in C185 skywagon aircraft using the default KAP140 autopilot.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start flight with C185 aircraft equipped with the default KAP140 autopilot

  2. While flying, activate autopilot (ROL mode will be selected)

  3. Activate HDG or NAV mode and verify that autopilot does not control the heading of the aircraft.

You are totally right. My mistake. I forgot that I manually added the KAP140 into that plane.

All other default planes equipped with KAP140 are working fine… seems that is time to check what was changed from SU4 to SU5 that made my mod stop working.
