So this happens every time I want to fly out of Denver International Airport. There are trees and bushes that appear all over the taxiways and terminal apron area. Is this a MSFS bug or a bug with the third party developer that created the KDEN airfield? This problem has occurred over the past month or so but was not always like that. A bug fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I had that after installing the payware KDEN. Removed the default Asobo in content manager, fixed.
Ah I see! Thanks RocketRod for the tip! I’ll give it a try on my end! Thanks.
No dice ! I deleted the Asobo default version completely, reinstalled the payware KDEN, restarted the simulation and I still see trees and more trees!
Can you please, please remove the trees and shrubs that are on the ramp and parking areas at Denver airport (KDEN).
Life finds a way.
DIA is clean as a whistle for me. On 1 tree near an out building on the east side of the airport.
If you have flightbeam KDEN, remove asobo via the content manager. This is a know issue on flightbeam forums.
If you do not have the payware kden then it is another addon airport causing it. Most likely a free one using assets from kden. You’d have to remove addons 1 by 1 until you find it.
I had an issue with the leveling to access a runway (practically walls). I deleted the Asobo KDEN and now I do not have the leveling issue but the trees appeared.
Do not have any payware or any other programs on my PC, it is dedicated to MSFS2020 only. I’ll try to delete KDEN and reinstall it.
Thanks for the replies.
Fired up the sim today and to my pleasant surprise there was a KDEN update waiting to be installed. After installation, all trees disappeared, ramp and parking areas are as they should be. Many thanks to everyone.
Now if only someone could do something to the. NYC bridges,…they’re horrible.
I installed the new KDEN update this evening, rebooted the simulator and there are still trees everywhere!!! I also did the previous steps of disabling and even deleting the original MSFS DEN default scenery. Pain in the butt.
Problem solved:
Apparently it was a cache issue that occurred when the simulator was offline and was not using streaming live data. I deleted the Rolling Cache File and that has solved the issue.
The FlightBeam website forum has a section for KDEN and one of the topics was the tree issue and this is where I found the solution. Thanks.
I am having the same issue. I have tried deleting my rolling cache, no luck. I have verified everything in the data section of the setting is set to on, no luck. I have verified that my simulator is indeed online. I have reinstalled the KDEN flightbeam addon and I have deleted the Asobo version of KDEN to make sure there is no issue. I have restarted my sim after every step and nothing.
Hello
I was wondering if there is a way to stop FS2020 from reinstalling the Denver scenery after startup because if it is in there it puts trees all over the taxiways and aprons.
Thanks
Hi, i delete the KDEN flightbeam addon the “manual cache” and the "rolling cache. And then reinstalled the KDEN flightbeam addon. No trees any more.
This is what I see at Denver International Airport. Had no idea the folks there were so eco-friendly.
Any idea how I politely ask the trees to get off the taxiways and gates?
It’s Colorado, what did you expect?
