Description of the issue:

ICAO, coordinates, or specific location: KDFW approach and of 17C

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time. It’s been an issue since 2020.

Are you getting this with msfs 2020 or msfs 2024? I’m on SU1 beta for msfs2024 and am not experiencing this anomaly.

I’m getting it on MSFS2024 SU1B. Its on the approach end of 17C. About 5 miles. What area did you take your pictures? Haven’t tested 2020 in a while at this airport. However in 2020 I had disable the City update Texas PG as it is what caused this issue.

It’s exceptionally bad on the East side of the airport and also East/Northeast from DFW over to Dallas Love Field (KDAL). I’ve also noticed it pretty terrible West of DFW near Southlake and Keller areas. Ground tiles are super blurry and buildings are just triangles and spikes.

This is interesting. Why am I getting such terrible visuals only there?

Do you have Photogrammetry enabled? This almost looks like 3D autogen buildings.

I live right next to and have driven into Keller and in MSFS 2024 it looks really good.

What is your TLOD? I am curious if it has anything to do with the speed ones flies over the area. As your in a bonanza in assuming you’re doing 100~ KTS?

I also experienced the god awful TLOD on the approach to DFW.

Lod 100. I believe I was traveling at 160 kts.

There’s got to be something different in your system versus the ones like mine that have this issue. I’m struggling to understand.
