Anyone know if there is any word on KDFW from a third-party developer? I purchased the Bredok3d version and was so disappointed I ended up uninstalling it. I live in the DFW area and am really surprised no one seems to be focused on the third busiest airport in the world!

FSDreamTeam had one for FSX, but I donât know if they plan to bring it to MSFS. Would be great if they did!

KDFW is one of the few remaining U.S.A. âhand craftedâ Asobo airports that needs a good third party payware airport. The others are KATL, KSFO and KMCO (although Taxi2Gate just released their version of KMCO, with some issues that conflict with photogrammetry).

KDFW was indeed an FSDreamTeam airport in FSX and a fine one. Sadly, they have said they will not be bringing it to MSFS for the foreseeable future.
There are numerous murmurs about KDFW possibly being the next project from one of a couple of different high quality developers that have said they have an unannounced project, including FlightBeam and iniBuilds. Neither has confirmed if that is the case or not but there is major support for it on iniBuildâs forums so weâll seeâŠ
Would love to have KDFW and KATL done by good third parties!

While âimaginesimâ may or may not be a high quality dev, I use their version of
KATL https://imaginesim.net/product/katl-atlanta-2/
and it does the job pretty well; certainly better than Asoboâs carton-style rendition.
AFAIK, there is currently only one option for KDFW:
Search on flightsim.to for KDFW. You should find one which fixes some .bglâs
and another one which fixes the (barely)-existing night lighting.
Asoboâs KDFW is actually pretty good except for the above shortcomings.

I was using the Imaginesim KATL until World Update 2 came out. While not great, I think it is better than the Imaginesim version. Believe they included DFW in that update as well so make sure you have it installed.
Still, would be great if FlyTampa, FSDT, or IniBuilds covered these two important airports along with SFO.

Good to know. I have KATL in my wish list in the sim marketplace and it has a fairly decent rating. What was it you didnât like?
And Iâm using Asoboâs KDFW for now. I had Bredok3Dâs but itâs just bad. While the scenery looked okay the gates were off and wouldnât lineup with the aircraft correctly.
Your comment brings me to another gripe with Asobo. Why no decent airport lighting, at least with the airports they redid. I hate landing at night unless itâs an aftermarket airport or I was able to find something on flightsim.to that added lighting.
Whatâs the deal, Asobo??? I donât like being left in the dark!! HaHa!

Not really. They just said they were doing KIAH (done) followed by PHNL, and then I canât remember what was nextâŠpossibly KMEM.
