Keep generic traffic at small airports with AIG

Dear all,
I have installed AIG and it looks amazing on large airports. When I then switch all generic planes to “off”, then they are gone and only AIG traffic stays.

But then smaller airports are all empty. How can I delete/deactivate only airliners and keep the AI traffic on smaller airports while the jets are placed by AIG on the big airports?

I tried to edit the aircraft.cfg of all “generic” airliners in the line “use for traffic = 0” but this didnt work…

Thanks for any idea how to combine these two options or an idea how to get some planes on smaller airports when using only AIG

An idea from my side would be to physically delete the generic airliner planes, so they cannot be loaded…
Then the AIG planes would be loaded on big airports and the generic ones at the small airports…

Can somebody confirm if these are planes, which have “generic” in the name? Or would this cause other errors?

Are you using AIG with live traffic or offline AIG TC injected traffic? If you are using traffic Controller, then use the GA mod to add GA traffic back in. See Adding GA flights with AIG traffic - #9 by PhantomStreak

I´m not sure if I understand…
I am using AIG real time traffic. I know that you have to turn off the Air traffic in the options to avoid that generic airliners are mixed with the AIG traffic. This works good and then I only have the AIG planes on the airport.

When I switch on “Traffic” in the options I again also have the generic airliners that look like a kind of A330.

So the question is: Can I delete/move the big generic passenger airplanes, so the FS2020 traffic only loads the generic small aircraft and I can set the airliners with AIG to the big airports?

I have already tried to remove all airliner models that look like generic ones from the “steam/official” folder, but on big airports I still have the generic airliners…

OK, the method I linked only works with offline AIG-TC injected traffic. Unfortunately, it will not work with Live Traffic.

Did anybody care for this issue in the meantime, too?
It seems that the twin engine planes are defined as “asobo-aircraft-generic-airliner-twinengines”.
So I tried to remove this folder from the game - but the generic planes still spawn…

Or is there any other idea, how you can bring back life to smaller airports when you have AIG running and generic traffic off?

So the latest findings are: Deleting the generic-airliner-twinengines does not help - upon launch of the program FS2020 re-installs them. So maybe there is a way to keep the files, but change it a way that it will not be loaded?
