Key already used after clean install (retail version)

Hello everyone,

I upgraded my setup with a new nvme drive, so I had to go through for a clean install.

I own a retail version of Microsoft Flight Simulator which I used with no problems in my previous setup.

The issue is that in the fresh install my activation key fails as it classifies as already in use.

I don’t a have a steam account and in my microsoft account I cant see the key registered as in other applications (e.g. microsoft offie).

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is not the appropriate category for the topic.

Thank your reply.

It is the retail version (DVD) version and apparently, the key is not associated with my microsoft account.

The same thing happens to me, if you already entered the key when you installed the dvd for the first time, it is no longer necessary to insert it again, go to the Microsoft store and install the simulator, in this way I had no problems and installed it without insert key, the key is already saved in your microsoft account, remember to enter in your account that you entered the dvd key for the first time
