is it possible to assign a key binding to start/reset the navlog stopwatch? this would be useful for bush trips in VR. thanks!
First of all the NavLog needs a fix!
It will reset (even the Stopwatch will reset to 00:00:00) when closing.
If you can vote to add the stopwatch here Stopwatch key binding (keyboard, joystick, FSUIP,...)

Many aircrast provide a really simple chronometer Start, Stop, and Reset controls, which is the basic way to perform a VFR flight.
However, these stopwatch functions are not available as assignable controls in the Controls Options menu.
We currently cannot bind:

Start / Stop stopwatch
-
Reset stopwatch
-
(Optional) Stopwatch mode/select
to keyboard keys, joystick buttons, or external hardware.
This limits usability for VFR navigation, training, holds, and approach timing, and forces mouse use or opening the map, which breaks immersion (especially in VR).
In Money M20R Ovation, there is a chronometer such as DAVTRON M800 with just 2 buttons "“select” and “control”. Multiple push on button “Select” allow to display local time => utc time => chronometer => local time. And control, allow to start stop reset the chronometer.
This M800 could be manage in the same way over key binding.
Request: Please expose stopwatch functions as standard assignable events (Start/Stop, Reset, Mode) and “select”, “control”.
