KGRB uses Minneapolis Tower

:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  1. Description of the issue: KGRB tower is listed in the ATC window as Minneapolis (KMSP), but will communicate with my aircraft.

  2. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? No add-ons installed

:white_check_mark: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently) Constantly

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

  1. Load a free flight at KGRB and get initial taxi clearance
  2. When given instruction to switch to tower when ready, the tower frequency will show up as Minneapolis.

  1. What peripherals are you using, if relevant: N/A

  2. [PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it? Dev mode was on to access FPS display, but no other changes made.

  3. [PC, MSFS 2020 Only] Are you using DX11 or DX12? N/A

  4. [PC Only] What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use? XTX 7800XT

  5. [PC Only] What other relevant PC specs can you share? N/A

• Minneapolis Center on 124.4 is the area controller and, if Green Bay Departure on 126.55 is INOP, they also handle their work. But the tower should always be Green Bay on 118.7.

You can see in the screenshots it is referring to Minneapolis tower, not center. Even if center is the departure controller for Green Bay IRL at times, it’s never been like that in 2020. That would still seem like a bug because I don’t see them putting that much granular nuance into ATC.

124.4 is Minneapolis Area Control, even if the sim claims it is the tower. Minneapolis Tower is either 126.7, 123.95 or 123.675.

Either way, it should be directing to Green Bay tower.

I recently picked up the sim for the first time since December and this bug is still there. It’s having me use Minneapolis Tower instead of Green Bay tower.
