Kill AI Traffic in MSFS 2024

Hi, is there a way to disable AI traffic in MSFS 2024? I have already deactivated it in the flight settings, but I still have AI traffic everywhere.

Disable it in General settings … Online settings … Aircraft Traffic Type

try also graphics options; at the bottom there are one or two aircraft settings, switch it off

Even if i set aircraf traffic to off i still get aircraft at the airport.

Same. I’m trying to turn the ground aircraft at the gates off and I can’t figure out how to do it.

this doesn’t work. I’ve tried it and still have AI traffic.

if you fly in VR you also have to disable AI traffic in the VR Settings!

@DBCooper8675 @VanzunatorCA You can disable static aircraft in the Graphics Settings, close to the bottom, turn Traffic Airport Quality to Off.

That"s what I did also : disable 2 options relating to the aircraft in the graphic part in addition to the setting in the online tab but aircraft are stilll there

Same here… I’ve tried disabling live traffic in the menu, but it still persists… Same for many other settings. I’ve tried to change the setting while in flight, or pre-flight and even post-flight. Nothing works…

I’ve had the same issue and found randomly large aircraft at small airports. They then block the taxiways which can be a real issue in Career Mode. So far I’ve managed to pass the missions though so a little laughable rather than a bigger issue.

If you owned the Fsltl static ground aircraft in 2020 as I do, it may be that has copied over into 2024 from marketplace.

I disabled all 3 settings : 2 in the graphics tab and the one in the online tab but aircrafs are still there at the airports

Dude I actually figured it out!!! The GROUND static traffic is binded to the „TRAFFIC AIRPORT QUALITY“ setting in the GRAPHICS. NOT Air Traffic

Super unintuitive but this is it.

i have turned off the following.

Graphics->Global Rendering Quality->Traffic Airport Quality->OFF
Graphics->Global Rendering Quality->Air Traffic->OFF
Online->Air Traffic Type->OFF
Online>Air Traffic in career->OFF
Online->Multiplayer->OFF

I still see parked AI planes (with inappropriate or made-up liveries) in airports.

Ok I had exactly the same problem I thought I was disabling it but still seeing aircraft. So I did the following and it got rid of all traffic.

  1. Settings-General-Online-Aircraft Traffic Type = Off (if it is set to Off already, scroll through until it says Off again)
  2. Then click Save and Back
  3. Settings-General-Graphics-Air Traffic = Off (if it is set to Off already, scroll through until it says Off again)
  4. Settings-General-Graphics-Traffic Airport Quality = Off (if it is set to Off already, scroll through until it says Off again)
  5. Then click Save and Back
  6. Settings-VR-VR Graphics-Air Traffic = Off (if it is set to Off already, scroll through until it says Off again)
  7. Settings- VR-VR Graphics-Traffic Airport Quality = Off (if it is set to Off already, scroll through until it says Off again)
  8. Then click Save and Back

Saving before moving to a new tab is key.
