Perfect flight has been around for decades they pulled the same bate and switch with FS9 FSX ext… this is the first time they got caught I saw this and new exactly what it was and did not buy i got burned by them for there delta adventures package for FS9 same concept and they did the same thing with the planes and i bought it at Simmarket I have bought from there for years mostly with few problems

It’s standard policy to give refunds on any product that is described inaccurately. We’ve had to do this on occasion in the past when the wrong sims were listed as being supported for example.

Yes, Nels and Flightsim are good folks. I have many of my paints uploaded there, in fact many that were lost in the hack of Avsim many years ago.
Never looked at the commercial side of his site as a resale outlet, but would wholeheartedly give him the benefit of the doubt in this case…I see him playing a modest devil’s advocate, understanding the revenue that may be at stake, but with that said, I hope he goes the whole nine yards and chooses to end relations with this vendor, as the “right” thing to do. We don’t need vendors like this…especially in a community that just increased its population at least ten-fold. Reputable vendors should be able to easily make up that lost revenue for the re-seller at this point. A perfect time to “separate the chaff from the wheat”.

Simmarket seems to have taken the product off…
Me and a couple of friends a very much new in flightsims but this kind of review/info is really appreciated. Luckily none of us has had any business with any of them.
Really hope things like this will be dealt with in the future.
For us Simulshop, simmarket and perfect flight are not trustworthy…will continue to use msfs marketplace for now.

By persisting with its sale, even in the face of overwhelming negativity, and evidence of a nefarious nature, the shop itself is tarnished by its presence. Trust is key for a thurs party vendor, and once that is lost, for whatever reason, it will be difficult to get back.
What they have to think of is how many lost sales will be the outcome from them continuing to sell this garbage.

So far the only shop that has been above board and decent IMO is flightsim.com who promised me they would give a full refund to any customer who purchased this.
Personally, I have received my refund and have multiple viewers who have also confirmed they have also from flightsim.com
If I am buying outside the marketplace right now (unfortunately I have to do so to review the products as the drop here well before the marketplace) I will be using Orbx Central and www.Flightsim.com
I was using simmarket exclusively until this interaction. I will stop all business with them moving forward.
If anything changes I’ll be sure to let you know. In fact, I’ll probably do an update video now and again on the state of e-tailers.

Whoever “developed” this plane, should be banned completely from developing. This is just blatantly taking someone else’s product and distributing it as their own.

Working on that as far as I can within my means. I agree, there is no room for developers like this within the community. I’m hoping MS/Asobo and e-tailers see it the same way.

I have varying promises from these vendors and a forthcoming review that your experience with them will guide. I will use this as leverage to ensure what they have promised me (your refunds) are followed through with.
If you did receive a return for instance (a number of you said that flightsim.com gave you a return immediately) let me know also so that I can point out those retailers who are being fair.

This is tacky beyond belief, if you are going to do something like this I would think you would want to keep this as low key as you can refund and hope as few people notice as possible, not least Asobo because if he thinks that his description will be enough to save him from a copy right claim, one thinks unlikely.

Wow! Thanks Dave, I’ve been liking your videos and this one through me as I purchased this addon a few days ago and worse still, I can’t even get it to run. The thumbnails in the plane selector are blank. When I select one the title shows I have selected it but the thumbnail in the left top corner then still shows my previous aircraft. When I go into the hanger any of the liveries show as a x-ray monotone view at best.
I contacted the dev and they did get back to me suggesting that I re-download. Which I did. Still the same. I’ve been back in touch with the developer but now no further response.
So your review is spot on. This is blatant fraud. I purchased from Simmarket, so I will get in touch with them for a response.
After I looked at the documentation I realised the developer was someone that I had purchased from many years ago in FSX and whilst their prices were modest, I decided very quickly that I wouldn’t buy again as their quality was so low. If I had of recognised their brand I certainly would have given them a miss now.

Hello Marco, I re-downloaded the file with AV turned off, reinstalled with “Run as administrator”. Sorry to say still the same issues.
If you view the new screenshots you will see that the one with the world map selector shows the CJ4 icon (my last used a/c) but the label says “pf2k Beechcraft King Air 350i”

The only other thing thing that may be significant is that my MFS install uses a symbolic link to the my G: - SSD drive where my main install resides. Therefore I wonder does your install process only handle a C:\ install.
Hopeful that you are able to see a solution as this is my first payware Aircraft installation and I am very keen to see it working.

Have there been any updates to this? I see simMarket have removed it from their store, but I see Aerosoft has just added to their as “New”. I don’t think they know what they’re selling unless something has changed with the “product” over the past 10 days.

Aerosoft site text says “adding beautiful liveries at the default Asobo King Air 350”. Oddly worded but at least indicating now that this package is for liveries for the default King Air.

Perfect Flight has another half-baked product. Bush Trip: The Alps. It’s actually separate legs each done as its own “Bush Trip” with a simple A-B straight line flight. Stupid. Thankfully I saw it before I bought it. That company isn’t getting a penny from me.
