I’m beginning to wonder if this one will ever be developed any further. I like it very much but there is still a long list of ‘to-do’s’ and we were told they would be done in September. It’s all gone a bit quiet.
I’ve recently bought the Fox2 on Market Place and really like flying this aircraft, but I have problems with the autopilot, which sometimes does not want to fly the chosen course.
Great modelling, but I have one nit-picking complaint, the locking pins to the wing pivot pins appear wrongly inserted as I believe it would be impossible to remove them as currently installed.
Is it possible, with the Market Place purchase, to remove the enging cowling to see the Rotax 915?
Wrong thread. The Fox2 you bought is by another developer (//42), while this thread is about the Kitfox Series 7 by Project Stratosphere.
You can remove the engine cover with one of the two circuit breakers on the right of the panel.
one triggers the One-Wheeler under the right wing, the other triggers the engine cover.
Oops, sorry about that. Thanks for pointing it out.
My thanks also to EnsiFerrum666 for answering my question.
So, any news regarding the progress?
Quick update:
It is super close to completion, I even got the Airmaster Propeller controller to work! And I have also added a custom radio screen (Garmin GTR200).
I will send screenshots in about 2 days. It should be available on simMarket and Flightsim.to in another 3-4 days.
It has been difficult to manage school with development, sorry for the delay.
Also, is anyone here facing autopilot issues? I haven’t had any issues in my testing but I have had people telling me there’s something wrong. Thanks!
I still have the same issues with Autopilot as before SU10 which I had Emailed You after the release of the Kitfox.
LVL doesnt level the plane, ALT isnt working for me. If I´m in Alt mode and give throttle the plane climbs with 1300+ fpm.
Yes, autopilot doesn’t work here also.
Update is ready to go, I just need to upload it now.
I also have to prepare the marketplace data after which I can submit it to the MSFS marketplace (should be released there in less than 2 months).
I plan on uploading it tomorrow, once I have received the screenshots from AviationLads and once the GTN750 screen has been verified by PMS50.
P.S. @Grogaholic @Saltash53 The autopilot issue has been fixed.
Version 3.0 is now live and available for download.
Changelog can be found on the flightsim.to page.
I have also submitted it to the MSFS marketplace team.
Thank you everyone for your feedback.
P.S. I have submitted version 3.1 just now, it only fixes a few minor bugs. Should be live within the next 6 hours.
Very nice work. Curious to see what 3.1 will bring but I like it very much. I do need to change my default height to 40 but other than that I’m pleased. Autopilot much improved.

Better I think.
adi, neat plane. do you have a discord server or some other way for taking feedback?

^ Discord
In the latest version no button in the cockpit is clickable for me.
Wish there was some life on that discord.
Don’t have this plane yet but I think I saw this is caused by a change Asobo made in the SU11 beta. Supposedly that change will be rolled back in the release version. Developer was responding in the comments on the plane’s store page at flightsim.to
This issue had to do with an SU11 beta bug.
It is fixed now.
Xbox user here - does anyone know if there’s a checklist or POH available for the Speedster?
Wow necro thread. I’ve had this aircraft for some time and it’s one of my more perplexing ones in the hangar. I can’t ever really decide if I like it or not.
