Brief description of the issue:

When landing in KJFK at night, I noticed that the runway lights are floating around 30 feet

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Approach any runway at JFK (I was landing on 13R but also noticed it on 22R) at night and descent normally. While descending, you’ll pass through the runway lights and hit the runway around 30 feet below where the lights are.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

N/A, this occurred on XBOX

This type of issue is usually due to mod conflict. Are you sure all your marketplace addons have been disabled ?

Meantime I moved your report to the User Support Hub User Support Hub > Scenery & Airports until having more users to try reproducing it.

This may also be related to scaling and resolution. If you have custom resolutions and you are doing upscaling or downscaling, a long flight seems to cause this to happen at the destination airfield.

Hi sorry for not getting back sooner. I fly on Xbox and the only add-ons in question here would be PMDG’s 737, 737 Livery Pack #3, and the Premium Deluxe version of KJFK. I haven’t at all since this flight (yay life), but if I’m able I’ll try flying to KJFK again and see what happens.

Could be. This flight was from KORD to KJFK on an Xbox Series X hooked up to a 4K TV with resolution set to 4K. Unless the Xbox is rendering at 2K and upscaling without my knowledge, I don’t know if that’s a factor at play here.

I don’t know, now. I’m plagued by it too, and I’ve tried everything short of uninstalling. I’m switching to AFS4 for the next 5 weeks.
