Knobster in MSFS 2024

Has anyone been able to use their Knobster in MSFS 2024? I copied the file from 2020 community folder to the 2024 community folder and the icon does show up in the “Tool bar” but the menu does not work.

Works just fine so far, however using Air Manager with it.

You need to download and install knobfs2024 beta from the sim innovations webpage. Works a treat and now has voice control. I haven’t found a way to use in career mode yet though

I cannot copy the knobs from my msfs2020 community folder to the msfs2024 due to restrictions. I have full admin rights on the account.

Thanks for this link. I was really bummed that I couldn’t use Knobster in MSFS 2024. Now I can. I havent tried voice control. Any tips on how to do that?

You need to make sure it’s being run as administrator, the you just say the action such as “select 46” or “select Nav1” or whatever the command is, they can also be edited

When I set KnobFS2024.exe to be running as administrator, it doesn’t appear anymore in the sim… how do you set it to run as administrator?

Any help would be appreciated.

Go to C:\Program Files\KnobFS2024\KnobFS2024.exe in file manager and then.

  1. Right-click the EXE file
  2. Select Properties
  3. Select the Compatibility tab
  4. Check the Run this program as an administrator option
  5. Click Apply, then OK

Then restart your computer, this will run the exe with administrator privileges every time.

No, it uses windows native voice recognition. You just need to make sure it’s running as administrator

Hi there, I tried everything you suggest, with administrator rights, reboot and all, but I still only get the empty pop-up. any additional advice? thanks in advance. the installer says that fs2024 is installed…
