I created some water runways for NH69 (formerly 8B8) on Lake Winnipesaukee. Unfortunately, a developer bought it and closed it because the State screwed up (the town wanted the airport) back in 2005. I loved flying into that airport. Now I can again :). Anyway, there’s a couple of docks on the north side of the airport with water runways setup (like you need them, haha). I have some links to the history of the airport on the page here.
The only thing missing are the deer about the size of largish dogs I used to see by the runway in the early evening (Takeoffs into the sunset were awesome)(It has a regular runway, too. The townspeople even ponied up for runway lighting, and for the beacon. What towns ever do that?)
Just south of the White Mountain National forest, and east of Laconia airport, so nice location to fly from.
