Same problem on my machine. I cannot use any landing challenge with the Airbus. The mission starts always with engine off, once I switch on the engine, only the right one works, but but cannot be controled. It runs 100% and the plane sooner or later crashes…

Aircraft starts with an weird attitude and with engines off, when they do turn on they’re stuck at 100% throttle.
Description of the issue:
Brisbane A320 Precision Landing Challenge Severley Broken. The sim starts you off uinstabilized and with no sound. There is no sound for the whole flight. It starts you off way too high so you have to do a drive and dive.
You wrestle to stabilize the plane. You do a 5 star rated landing then the sim tells you you have failed and logs a crash to your log book. I have tried this 7 times with perfect landings and now have 7 crashes on my logbook. Not that that matters but thought I would let you know.
The plane has no livery.
I feel like an unpaid crash test dummy.

As you as the landing challenge starts it fails you in 1 second and logs a crash on your logbook.

Dear Microsoft,
Thanks for trying to fix the Brisbane Challenge. I just tried it post SU2. It still appears broken. Here is what happens:
The plane spawns in IMC, in a stall, with both engines off and too high. You can make it to the runway with engines off. Is this part of the challenge? If so, please put that in the description.
The good news is that if you make it to the runway, you do get a score.

Description of the issue: Engine One is off in the Airbus A320neo (v2) when starting the Famous Landing Challenge at Nadi.
There is no mission or activity description prior to starting the landing challenge, it is unclear if this is by design as a more difficult challenge. If it is by design to increase the difficulty, maybe it could be in a different category of landing challenge. Or it could be annotated in some way to indicate it has an increased difficulty.

I have the same exact issue but with PC version.
I have very few mods and I’ve tried going to the A320 landing in various locations.
Everything is off when entering, and I’m hitting the ground before everything starts. I’ve tried to go back to this occasionally. Will check once again. SU2.
Same for me on Xbox. Engines are always of, stall, death… 
I feel like I’ve seen mixed reports on this in the SU3 beta - can anyone else on the beta test it out? I haven’t had a single issue with any airliner starting engines-off in a Landing Challenge on at least the last 2 beta builds.

•As of now: I have the exact same issue: both engines cuts out mid-air the moment you spawn, when you restart them, they will be stuck on take-off throttle (max), making landing impossible.
Additionally, I have encountered cases above the same airport, where the plane crashes while in mid-air (with no mountains anywhere near it), and then get stuck in a “crash-loop”, where the interface reports a crash every few seconds apart. Quite ridiculous, and not in a funny way.
Note: the first bug report involving this was made in January of this year. I’m reading this on August 20, 2025, and the issue still hasn’t been fixed??
I must say, that with this kind of response time for problems that arise, members of the dev team will likely go into retirement before you have made this game playable.
What Are You People Doing. ?? I myself have paid 220 Euro for the aviator edition, and for that price, you DO NOT expect the game to be half-broken and full of bugs at launch.
You have a loyal fanbase, but people’s patience is wearing thin. More than half a year has passed since launch, and you still haven’t fixed bugs reported on more than half a year ago?
Respectfully, you need to get your house in order. This is unacceptable on so many levels.
From any testing I’ve done on various builds of the SU3 beta this seems to be fixed. Hoping that is still true when it eventually becomes the live version of the sim.
It is really embarrassing for the makers of this sim to have had the product out nearly 9 months and this is still broken. You can’t spawn into any A320 challenge without being met from a scene from hell with warnings going off all over the place. It really is pathetic.
When’s the last time you’ve cleared rolling cache, deleted streamed packages, and/or reinstalled the sim? This has been fixed for me since the SU3 beta.
