ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

No mods installed.

When starting a landing challenge involving an Airbus, the aircraft spawns with engines shutdown (but starting). Quite similar to starting a free flight with the aircraft not yet fully downloaded. However, when restarting the landing challenge (aircraft certainly loaded by that time), same same. If the engines are started in time to make it to the runway, you failed the landing challenge message will appear.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Everytime.

• All Airbus landing challenges start with engines failed. Sometimes they are able to be restarted before landing, but the throttle will be stuck at 100%. Sometimes the avionics will all be turned off (including no backup airspeed indicator). Sometimes it starts in upset position resulting in immediate crash or failure of the challenge.

Have same issue for any activity/challenge, or event free flight when trying to set it up for landing trainings. Example: Set the arrival airport/runway and departure as airborne.

PLATFORM is XBox Series X

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• Yes

• Same issue, but my platform = XBox Series X
• Any landing challenge with Airbus Neo, as well as Cessna Citation has the engine off / controls & throttle unresponsive bug

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Start any Landing challenge that uses an Airbus 320; Both engines are initially OFF and I am gliding. After about 15 seconds, engine 1 starts; after another 15 seconds, engine 2 starts. Then things go as normal. MS FS 2024 v1.2.8. I have done Landing Challenges hundreds of times in MS FS 2020, so it is not me. The engines start normally in many Landing Challenges in MS FS 2024, it appears to only be the Airbus 320, maybe all Airbus 3xx?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start any Landing challenge that uses an Airbus 320;
  2. Both engines are initially OFF and I am gliding.
  3. After about 15 seconds, engine 1 starts;
  4. after another 15 seconds, engine 2 starts.
  5. Then things go as normal.
  6. Note that the problem does not occur with Landing Challenges that use other aircraft types.

I have also this probem ( only in A320 in landing challegne)
I haven’t instaled any mods
15s first engine + 15s second engine
After these all engine are on 100% power without possiblity change it
( Also used 3d cockpit by mouse )

The landing challenge of Paro Airport is started with dual engine out, which result in a crash (but not to desktop, literally crash) at the very start.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1.Open Game
2.Choose Activities
3.Choose Landing Challenges
4.Choose Epic
5.Choose Paro
6.Start this Landing Challenge(by the way, the landing route shown is crossing inside of the mountain)
7.Then you will find that the A320neo is started with both engines out(but trying to start?), then crash to the ground.
8.Tried to restart, then the plane sink even faster.

• If I start the engines in flight they ignite but then are stuck at 100% making landing impossible. Even taking the throttle levers to idle does not lower engine power.

Description of the issue: Landing challenge at Gibraltar with A320 - after starting the challenge, engines are off and are starting up. After they start up, they go to 100% throttle and cannot be controlled.

• All Airbus landing challenges spawn in with engines failed. Sometimes the aircraft will be in a complete upset position, immediately failing the challenge. Full uninstall/reinstall did not resolve issue.

yes having a issue on a320 planes in the landing challengs

so after loading to the codpit the engine started stoping and stalling can’t do anything to save the plane please fix this problem
