Hello,
I have different profiles set for different aircraft types.
The landing gear is button 21 for toggle gear up and down, setup as normal.
Yet gear goes up when I flick up but doesn’t go down when flick it down…
Try all different profiles and nothing, from all different types of A320 and still no luck.
Yet when using the plain old simple default profile it works, But I have not got any other button 21 signed
Well, that switch works like this. When pushed to the “up” position, the button activates and it is held down as long as the switch stays in that position. When pushed to “down,” the button is released. So the default profile sets gear up to “on press” and gear down to “on release.”
If you try to map it manually, you’ll have to make sure you set it that way. Don’t map it to toggle gear or up down.

I need to double check then I think they are both on press rather then the down to be released Xd
Yet when I created the profiles are coped from the default profile anyway. It always worked since I had the TCA and I never had to edit the landing gear.
Yes, the default profile will always have been configured to be ON PRESS for Gear Up, and ON RELEASE for Gear Down.
If you ever made any changes to the binding, sometimes MSFS get reset to ON PRESS. So you have to manually check and double check to make sure it’s saved as ON RELEASE. Once you do that, triple check it again to make sure MSFS doesn’t revert it back to ON PRESS. Then you should be good.
When you assign button 21 to gear down there is “when pressed” next to it, if you click on the arrow next to this it has “When released”. Set it to when released and it works.
