No showstopper. But would be really nice. And playing RDR2, we know that it’s absolutely feasible: Airplanes taxing on snow leave trails. In real life.
Snow on the ground is nice, but it feels like there is something missing when you land on a snowy runway in Finland but all you see is a white runway. For more realism it would be a very neat feature, if we get some snow trails where planes or ground vehicles did move. Also it would be very cool if snow would get stirred up by the downwinds of the engines.
It absolutely is. Aircraft in IL-2 leave trails in the snow.
