Can we please have the option to turn off the landmarks markers and city markers in the Discovery Flights? They are really annoying when taking screenshots
Every option is greyed out except the display all makers and display direction to chosen POI…

So, three years later…and I voted for this. 
I do not understand the logic of disabling / modifying a user’s Assistance Options preferences in Discovery Flights (or Bush Flights, for that matter).
These flights are not tests or exams where enforcing settings to avoid “cheating” might be appropriate.
These flights should allow the user to decide how they want to fly them. Forcibly changing any of my Assistance Options preferences greatly reduces the enjoyment of these flights for me, so much so that I’ve started to just copy the flight plan .PLN files to my saved flights folder & fly them in free flight.
If nothing else, providing an option for users to select “Recommended Settings” or “User’s Settings” for Discovery Flights (or Bush Flights) would be an acceptable solution.

I can understand enforcing environmental settings, but I agree you should be able to turn assistances off.

I love the discovery flights but would like to be able to use them to learn more about the area and where I am.
I also end up doing the route outside the official bush trip so I can have markers on.
Think it’s easier on PC than Xbox as you can live track the flight on littlenavmap. On Xbox you can use flow but that doesn’t show poi’s or placenames.
