Currently, when selecting an IFR flight plan within the World Map it can be difficult to see the full name of the gate and/or parking spot because the window is minimized to allow room from the departure.
This is specifically an issue when needing a large parking space or heavy gate for flying big aircraft.
My recommendation would be to specify the gate/parking spot size in the map itself when you “zoom to details” for the airport. That way you can choose the gate/parking spot that meets your size requirements and your preferred spawning location at the airport.
Current workaround (not ideal): First select VFR, this will expand the gate/parking window, then after selecting a gate/parking spot switch to IFR.
